Error with adding .DTX to REZinject

A lot of people say that adding a .DTX into rezinject is possible and is supposed to be that way, but my computer won't let it happen. I get the following error:

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click exit, the application will close immediately.

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Its not impossible, we in the Rez Modding Section do it every day, make sure you are injecting the dtx into the right .rez file

I can't inject it or even attempt to inject it. I add it to the list to get injected and it gives me that error and crashes. It won't let me add anything.
