X-trap problem

i need help...i installed new windows...and now when i start cf i get xtrap error and it says:The access to X-Trap patch server is unstable or X-Trap update want able to run properly.Please restart game.
Pls someone help me..ty

do you use a hack? if you use a hack try a bypasser

I have had this problem when I started to play crossfire. I had to update my anti-virus, then run the game with an exception path for it.

Like said, open your anti virus, update it to the latest version if you haven't done so. Then look for any pending windows updates and update your computer. Then run crossfire from your system directory which is located in C:\Program Files\Z8Games. Then look for a file called CF_G4box.exe and run it, press the start button and see if it still comes.

If it still doesn't work, try running in compatibility mode for it. Right click on CF_G4Box.exe and go to properties. Then on the window that just came up, go to the compatibility tab, and then check mark the box where it says "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and in the drop down menu select the highest option given. If you are using Windows XP, set the compatibility option to Windows 2000. If you are using Windows Vista or 7, then set the compatibility option to Windows XP.
