Are you checking the comments on piratebay often? It'll tell you whether its clean or not... Good reference, piratebay is one of the best torrent sites out there.

I got 1/5000songs virused. I recommend using "Microsoft Security Essentials" and have that running or any other VS, i say this one because it's free.
