Combat Arms News -- Online FPS Action

Gun modification reaches a whole new level as the first wave of Bubba Ares’ new “Fusion” weapons goes live in our September content update. In addition, there’s a host of new Mark II weapons, customizable weapons, GP weapons, and even some stylish new gear to set it all off. Read all about the improvements to the Gun Emporium and get a sneak peek of “Piazza,” the brand new clan map coming soon! Gun Emporium Improvements

Fusion Weapons: After a lot of work, sweat, and no small amount of swearing, Bubba Ares is introducing the latest line of weapons for the discriminating soldier. The new line of “Fusion Weapons” might better be described as the “Frankenstein’s monsters” of weapons development. Bubba will take bits and pieces of already great weapons and fuse them together into death machines that frankly scare us just writing about them!

Customization Improvement: To make the weapon customization process easier, all of the old customization items have been removed from the game and replaced with new "Customization Parts." Any customization items currently in your possession have been replaced with an equal amount of Customization Parts.

UI Change: The Gun Emporium UI has been reorganized to be more intuitive and easier to use. As you can see above, the customize menu has been revamped and easier to use. The Forge menu has also been freshened up.

Fusion Weapons!
Bubba Ares has created a lot of great customizable and upgraded weapons in his day, but nobody ever really thought he was crazy – until now. Even jaded soldiers are shaking their heads at his latest line of Fusion Weapons, wondering if these things might not violate a couple of human rights laws. Of course, they stop wondering once they get their hands on this lethal beauty.

WA2000-1 Tactical

No one’s entirely sure how Bubba managed to swap out the barrel of the WA2000 and replace it with that of the DSR-1 Tactical. Frankly though, after seeing this thing in action, no one really cares. The WA-2000-1 Tactical’s abilities can be summed up like this: it shoots through villages.

You can always tell when Bubba has succeeded at pulling off something cool by the sly smile on his face. The really loud explosions from the Gun Emporium help, too. Check out the new Mark II weapons!

New GP Weapons!
Say hello to our new GP weapons. An assault rifle and two vintage pistols!

Galil ACE
This modern update to the Israeli Galil was designed with a focus on combat versatility. Exchangeable barrels allow it to use a variety of ammunition types and nearly every piece can be customized to further tailor the rifle for each soldier's needs. Unlocked at Second Lieutenant 2 (2LT 2).

Luger P-08
Despite its age, the Luger P-08 remains one of the most dominating pistols ever created. The unique toggle-lock action coupled with sleek design and superior accuracy make this one of the most sought-after guns in the world. Unlocked at Command Sergeant Major 5 (CSM 5).

Walther P38
The Walther P38 refined the design of the German Luger to make it more powerful and versatile. As the first full-powered military handgun to feature a double-action trigger, this 9mm semiautomatic pistol is a popular piece for collectors. Unlocked at Second Lieutenant 1 (2LT 1).

A successful mission has become a disaster! Your team recovered an EMP bomb capable of shutting down all electrical and communication networks in an area the size of Rome from a local terrorist cell. Something happened on the way to your pickup though. All communication with headquarters has been lost and you’ve gone to ground in a quaint nearby village. Unfortunately, it seems that the former owners of the bomb have tracked you down. Now you have no choice. You must defend the bomb in the village until communications with HQ can be restored.

You’ve taken the bomb, now you have to keep it!

Bug Fixes
- The error message that appears when an Elite Moderator attempts to kick with only 3 or fewer players in the match has been corrected.
- The third person model for the XM8 has been corrected.
- The First Aid Kit is now dropped from the player's hands, as opposed to behind the player's back.
