About the game: Crossfire is a tactical first-person shooter online PC game developed
by South Korean FPS deveolping groups SmileGate and Neowiz. This game has graphics that
are like Counter-Strike. Black List (BL) are basically terrorists and Global Risks (GR)
are mercenaries. Crossfire is normally believed as the "free" version of Counter-Strike.
Gameplay, Graphics and Sound/Effects: The Gameplay is like Counter-Strike. For those
who haven't played Counter-Strike before or ever heard of it, Counter-Strike has the
same concept as most FPS games. Terrorists VS. Counter-Terrorists. The Terrorist side
tries to plant the bomb and defend it from the Counter-Terrorists. The Counter-Terrorists'
job is to defend the bomb sites. The graphics for Crossfire is similar to Counter-Strike.
There are specific sound effects whenever you get a streak of kills and when you send
a radio message.
Pros:
- The game is free (who doesn't like free games?)
- Game is compatible with most computers (when I say most, I mean Windows XP or higher)
- Decent variety of guns to choose from
- Easy and simple game styles
- Big playerbase (mostly Brazilians... Not saying every Brazilian is bad at the game)
- There is now IP restrictions but I don't see much of a difference...
Cons:
- A lot of laggers (Mainly Brazilians)
- A ton of hackers
- Z8Games barely updates the game (Not sure about the other publishers)
- Some believe Crossfire is a rip-off of Counter-Strike
- Hard to make game currency (GP)
