Yeah I think what the OP means is that Gboost 3.0 is out. It was released sometime this month according to news sites... Editing INI's also helps though b/c APB is horribly optimized and is already a bit of a memory & threading hog so every little bit helps. Especially when running scripts. (lagging too much when using scripts can actually increase your chances of being caught)

This helps people who having 100+ processes needlessly running on an old system.

i'll say if u dont want any lags make sure that ur not running to many programs in ur background also if u have steam on close it also all the downloading and videos like porn and dont run 2 games at the same time also how fast is ur internet u can check that by going in Google and typing internet speed test it tells u how fast is ur internet is mine is 10mpbs its pretty fine and 5m is slow

Steam is fine to be running in the background, it automatically idles itself.

Downloading is a big no no, but UPLOADING is even worse. Turn off any torrent programs you have.

2 games at the same time? That's PERFECTLY fine as long as you have the ram for it and the connection speed for it. I can easily run Deus Ex, APB, and BF3 all at the same time. You need 2 gigs of ram for windows + the required ram for each game, and you need 100kbps per game running.
