Is Microsoft SDK's The same as DirectX SDK's?

If so can you tell me, because im installing directX sdk for 2008 casue i got c++ 2008. Just answer me that simple question please.

No. The "Microsoft SDK" does not exist - Microsoft produces multiple SDKs, one of which is the DirectX SDK for doing graphics related stuff.
