So my mom has a friend who can build custom computers for like a tone of less money with like really good components such as Nividia display i5 processors so on and so on. But as of right now i don't know much about getting new components so i need some help.
So if anyone can list some of the components that aren't like too pricy such as i7 processor which i know i won't even need i5 would be good enough.
I want you guys to help me think some of the following
1.Good display card preferably made by Nividia
2.Good cooling system not too awesome like liquid cool etc =.=
3.How much gb of ram i should get?
4.How much Hard drive, one or two. ( My friend has two one has only like 27 gb and it is also his main hard drive, so his computer starts up really fast, but he also has another one with like 1 terra byte of hard drive.)
5.Monitor? since it's desktop
6.How are the system programs like when i put together a program, win7( i don't know how this works)
So if you guys can help that would be great and no bs please. You can also list some of the things i missed putting on the list.
Not technically made for gaming but something that can operate on like bf3 highest res. And not like super kick ass components like you listed .

They're not really super kick ass, but still good.
And you can always upgrade the graphics card to 6950 HD.
AMD is cheaper, but it's still good.
If you have money, go for GTX 580, 590 or 6990 HD.

You realize those components aren't near maxing BF3 on high resolutions, if that's what you're looking for.

GTX 590 if you have money.
GTX 580 is very good, I get tops 150 fps in BC2 highest graphics.

It's a great and cheap legit gaming build.
If he wants to upgrade the graphics card, he'd also have to upgrade his power supply.
For RAM, meh, throw 8GB then.

Ikr, just posted similar to that.

I didn't question how good the build is, but for BF3. Did you see those Alpha Benchmarks? And he/she asked for "li3k h1Gh3sT res0lutIon omfg!1!!!!!11!!"

Eh, I'd get i5 > Phenom II x4 any day.

. What do you suggest.

Exactly. Not to mention you can get quite out quite a bit more FPS with an i5 2500k with a nice overclock. But Leo doesn't seem to know about any of this stuff, so I wouldn't recommend overclocking.

I saw you raging and calling him (or me) a retard after you posted "whatever you suggest," before you edited it out. Scared?

I'm giving him a cheap build.
He can always choose different if he wants.
Divine seriously i didn't even say i wanted to run bf3 before he posted the components, so either post something useful or gtfo.

Precisely, you posted that you wanted high resolution BF3 gameplay after he posted that popular image. I'm simply implying that you should get more educated in the field yourself, or nudging your conscience to pick up the hint.
Plus, I did post something useful by backing up InCognito's processor suggestion. Don't get too mad.
