Somebody started a fight with my best friend, and hit in the back with a baseball bat, and was about to stab him.
I curb stomped him.
Edit: It was wrong and I shouldn't have. But I've known the guy for 11 years, and he was about to be killed. I lost my cool and went way too far. What happened happened though. I was released on a charge of self-defence, but still for trial because of the excessive use of violence. So it was 18 months in jail, or 3 years military. I chose military.

Exactly. Especially since the reason they were beating him up was because he beat them in a game of pool. Three of them attacked him, it wasn't fair. With a bat and a knife too. I tossed the guy to the curb and made him bite it. You don't even know how fast his friends took off. So much for his friends, eh? My friend ended up needing surgery for a slipped disk in his back from the bat, and 7 stitches from the knife. At the time all I could think was that they were going to kill him, and I wasn't going to let that happen.

I'm the exact same way man. And no, I don't want a title haha. I just did what I did to protect a friend. I will fight to protect myself if I absolutely HAVE to, but I never ever start fights, and I walk away if someone else starts it. But if it's my friends... it's a "don't fucking touch them unless you want to lose that hand" type of thing. The other thing with fucking with my friends, is that I completely lose control, and I won't stop until the other person isn't moving... nothing makes me more angry than someone hurting someone I care about over something stupid like a game.

Same. I got expelled from my middle school for defending my friend. Best thing I've done to help someone out.
