Help pls.

My dad knew the password for my desktop, so I changed it. A few days later, I have now forgotten it.

Anyone know any methods of how I could recover it via safe mode, or maybe a usb flash drive?

I know I can easily get it back via a windows 7 disk or oph crack iso burned to a dvd, but I'd have to wait quite a while for that, and I need to get on now. :3

Anyone who helps me (whether it fixes it or not) will get thx + rep.

don't you have another admin account on the pc?
you can go through there and remove password on accounts

i did this for my laptop using OPHCrack it took like 5 mins + 20mins to download the iso..

log onto an administrator account
go into account management
select the account you normally use
think there is an option to remove password

u dun fucked up

Go into safe mode, and enter this in CMD net user <username> <password>. Just your username, and the password you want. This worked in XP, dunno about 7.

It's weird, I boot safe mode w/ command prompt but it just brings me to the startup screen in 800x600 resolution.

take the clock battery out for awhile then make new password

Get on PirateBay
Download a password recovery.
It will reset all passwords.

isnt there an admin account when you boot in safe mode? or was that just for xp?..
