MPGH Upper Staff has decided that with Vb4, new and exciting changes are coming to improve the atmosphere in the website.
Thus we will make an effort for a more accessible, less hostile, and fun environment for everyone.
As such, it was recently decided that the position of General Moderator should return.

Keep in mind.. this isn't to kill general, but rather clean up the spamming, flaming and trolling.
For example, we had 20+ threads about VB4 and people's opinions. A mod's job would be to clean spam and flames, merge those threads and keep order through use of infractions and bans. We hope to bring back intelligence to general.

I've calmed down and stopped my spamming/flamming to do my job correctly and to not be a total retard. I believe I'd be perfect for this position because general is my home. My favorite section of all, my creator and my taker. I would clean this section up so good you'd think it wasn't MPGH anymore. It'd be much more user friendly and 110% less spam. Why should you be chosen as Mod: I can safely say, out of all the minions and mods, I have the most experience. Granted I don't have to manage attachments, but so far I've been mod/minion for around a year and a half. Plus general doesn't have many attachments to approve anyways, so you could say I'm not overqualified. I believe I was destined for this job. During my time as Mod, I gained the trust of everyone, enough for you guys to give me banning powers, a first for anyone in the GFX Section, and I never abused it, every ban had a justification, and I'd always tell them the reason personally.
You see me as one of the people who complain about multiple threads, much like the vb4 threads, in fact I made a thread complaining about them, so you can see I share your passion to clean up General. I do believe that General is where the fun happens, and I little bit of banter here and there is healthy to achieve a dynamic community, but I do know where the line is. In the GFX Section I am always trying to diffuse tense situations as I would rather members to not be banned/reported but for their attitudes to change instead. I'm sure you guys share this attitude.
MPGH is the site I visit most often, and General is the section I visit most often. I go to TAFE from Tuesday-Thursday at 9 in the morning and come home at 12 in the arvo. The rest of the day until around 6-7 is spent on MPGH. On Mondays and Fridays I spend around 11am-7pm on MPGH. The weekends is where my activity will drop slightly, however due to my timezone Ill be back online on Sundays (for Americans).
Rest assured this is the position I've been hanging out for. Not sure if I should say this, but I was notified that I was the prospective GM in 2010, but I lost that because I had to resign from my position as Mod due to personal reasons. Now I've gotten Minion back I'm loving the position, but due to the activity in GFX compared to other sections, it would've been hard for me to progress without me venturing into other sections which already have established communities that I am unfamiliar with. General is the only section I'm fully comfortable with outside of GFX.
I'm also pretty sure I'm the most liked person out of anyone. Besides Austin and Vini

Why should you be chosen as Mod: I'm online everyday. Since last year, I've always been online everyday at least once. Why should you be chosen as Mod: As you can see, I'm currently a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. I reside in the Royal Canadian Light Armored Infantry (Aka. Dragoons - or RCD for short). Because of this, I have very strong leadership skills, high attention to detail, sensitivity training which means knowing how to react under pressure WITHOUT bias, and situation control tactics which is basically how to properly deal with two or more aggressors at once in verbal (in this case, visual-verbal) confrontations. I can swiftly make decisions based on the actions of said aggressors as to what punishments are suitable as warnings, serious infractions, and in extreme cases possible long-term bans. As such, I am able to respect authority and fellow staff to a high degree, and I am not afraid to ask for help if there is something I am not 100% sure of. I have been a member on this forum for quite some time, mostly residing in the Combat Arms section, but on and off delving into the General 'realm' I like to call it. Fluent in English, and I attempt to maintain proper grammar at all times. Well written English means well understood English, and as such, I believe less mistakes and misunderstandings are to be made. My recent employment in the Military has shown me a great deal of maturation, and a new respect for order vs. chaos. I took a break from this site previously, specifically because of how chaotic certain sections had become, often thinking "Hell, if I had the opportunity to help, I'd jump on it." Now I do have the possible opportunity, and I would simply like to offer my support in any manor it may be required.

MPGH has always been and shall always be a part of me and my daily life and thus I believe it would be fitting to once again help this land expand and grow in a mature and no nonsense manner.

I feel that I could help put an end to the vast amount of issues on how members are treated in the general forum and would be more than willing to undertake the task of helping cleaning up the general forum. I understand why there needs to be change around the forums and what needs to be done to start that chain reaction. I sincerely do care a lot about these forums and I would love to see it transformed back to its old glory, not a simple place for people to get on and lead another persona but rather to get on and be able to get away from their real life and be able to continue it on here without being judged and or made fun of. I know where a member draws the link between friendly play and harassing another member and that is not the experience I want anyone have to endure.
I feel that this section could be the root of why the forums have changed dramatically over the years, and that fixing this problem would later lead to fixing the rest of the problems that went along with them. I monitor this section along with the sections I am in charge of as well of staying in touch with the community. I actually think before doing things I don't simply jump to conclusions nor do I have a bias opinion over many debates, and opinions that our members have.

Why should you be chosen as Mod: (Use some IQ for this answer please): I have always been active on the general section, I know everything about it. I also have experience as a minion, And general has always been my caving spot, I can put an end to the spamming and stuff, I know how things work. I always was waiting for a position like this, Please don't judge me by my activity, since i don't post much anymore, but i always lurk around general. I can take good care of the section and i will. Ill obey the law, and ill make sure others obey it too. I'm ready to change my attitude as my superiors want me to, And ill do what is right and wont be a power abuser.
