Overclocking your PC

Has anyone here overcloked his pc yet?
I maybe will overclock my graphic card but I am not sure...
When i was 12 I downloaded that overclocker programme. I didn´t know much of that so I just put it on maximum and baam, my pc crashed. When i tried to turn it on again it didn´t want to
The next day it worked like nothing happened.
So could you give me some tips?
Ohright, I use a cheap GeForce GT 120 (Was onboard)

Dont overcloack Laptops FINAL.
First look for the safe clocks to turn on and the and only then on a stable enviroment(no gamming you just turned the pc on its cold yet) you overcloack the component you want(Ram,CPU,GPU) but keep checking the temperatures and do not overcloack any of the components witouth a good cooler for each,

what processor do you have ? source ? tryed riva tunner /evga precision ?

better overclock ur cpu clock [procesor] like i did from 2.1 to 2.7 GHz and even if my graphics card is not very good i can play cool games

In want to overclock my Graphic card, not my processor. Processor would maybe kill my PC

Never overclock an Onboard GPU, better to use an Actual Graphics Card, that can take more of a pounding and actually has better cooling...

GTX 580 3Gb @ 940Mhz, 1800Mhz, 4044Mhz...

Yeah... laptops just don't go with OC.
I hab an MSI Cyclone GTX460 with OC, i did with a software called MSI Afterburner, but dunno if it will work for other GFX cards rather than MSI.
