IP Question

Well I've been hacking with my main character for like 8 half months ruffly and I've been getting skeptical about getting banned and I had seen some one say in a thread it was a good idea to make a dummy account and just transfer things over. Now I commute from school to home so I tend to have ip changes since I'm using my colleges internet and yes I know I should be doing homework and I assure you I am I just got ridiculous breaks in between classes and I need something to pass time(My life story ). Now I made my dummy account and I'm using a different ip then I would be at home but when I sign in it seems like I'm still being tracked it tells me what previous ip I was using before anyway to stop Nexon from knowing?

I got the same thing. I have 3 computers in my home and every time I log in from a different computer, there's a message that shows my previous and current IP. I'm not worried though cause so far nothing bad has really happened. All my accounts are still functioning properly (even better now with previous records cleared). I botted a lot like almost 24/7. Unless you're doing something really shady, there's no reason to be concerned. Nexon so far seems ok with minor hacking. I think they are after the big fish like in Korea. The ones that bot and sell billions of gold a day.

I used to be concerned about my 2 accounts (1 perfectly normal and the other I hack on) sharing the same IP. But keeping in mind there is an IPv4 address shortage these days... Alot of us have dynamic IPs and even have to share those often. So I doubt anyone at Nexon would bother to go as far as sorting through all that mess.

If warranted, then Nexon will IP ban you regardless of any innocents that may be caught in the crossfire. I've had a certain online game ban my entire IP range because I had dynamic IP, so legit players in my city using the same ISP probably got banned as well.

Wow, that's awful. Then it is necessary to use different IPs. Different countries it will be! Thanks for the warning.
