Thanks will try it now cheers for that, the poster could have said that in the first place nope dont work and yes i opened the iwi file with winrar and copyied it over saved it and came up with file error when bo started what a total piss off wanted it to

Btw i used 7-ZIP

Download the ak texture mod, go to where you install black ops. main--> IW11.IWD --> Open archive [right click ur mouse] --> backup the original AK texture.

Now open your download using "open archive" and copy the AK custom texture to the IW11.IWD archive.


Close all explorer windows and 7-ZIP.

Launch black ops singleplayer and load "Vorkuta", noclip to a soldier carrying an AK in the MG tower (the part where you have to crouch behind the coal cart), if the AK they carry is YELLOW in color, then you can proceed to get an AK from a dead soldier.



Remember that the black ops version that AVGN and mine is 1.08
