Crossfire loading failure...
Hello, I have installed crossfire on my windows 7 laptop, and it has run perfectly in the past. When I went to play it last, it had to update the game. The patcher kept crashing, so I uninstalled the game and re-installed it. Now whenever I double click on crossfire the pre-game window pops up that shows upcoming patches events, and when I click start game, the patcher runs then closes without any error messages, and hgw game watcher does not pop up like it does on my other computer. I wait for an hour and the game still does not work. I have tried re-installing the game, downloading a whole new installer and re-starting my computer, but it never works. Once again it has worked in previous patches but just wont work. Could you please help me? Thank you!
Do the following.

After rebooted and logged in your Windows Account, disable your AV, Firewall and any other external programs, use SmartClose to the task. Install it again and see if works.
If it's done, start the game normally, it should patch now. If you get an error while patching, try it again, and again, till you got it ingame.

And you should take a look at this thread, http://www.mpgh.net/forum/243-crossf...ubleshoot.html. If you scroll down you can also find the download links for CCleaner and co.
Thanks a lot, re-downloading now, really hopes this works

Edit: It doesn't Any other suggestions, or can anyone else help?

Edit: I also posted a thread on the z8 forums but that of course did not help, and I even submitted a ticket but the z8 people are not very helpful -_-
