Project Blackout tips and techniques

Here are some tips and techniques you can use in Project Blackout. (If colors arer to bright tag or quote me and i will ix it.)

Techniques

Animation Canceling/Quick Switch

What is Animation Canceling / Quick Switch?

Animation canceling / quick switch makes you skip part of the animation so you can shoot faster.

How do i Animation cancel/Quick switch?

Press "Q" twice or choose another weapon and switch back.

Which weapons apply to animation canceling / quick switch?

Animation canceling / quick switch apply to Snipers and Shotguns


What is headline?

Headline is a technique where you keep the mouse steady at the head level enabling you to get a headshot.

How do i do headline?

Keep the mouse steady at head level. It is easier to do headline with lower sensitivity.

Which weapons apply to Headline?

All weapons apply to headline but it is best to use Pistol or a gun with a Scope.


What is Crouch Jumping?

Crouch Jumping is a technique that makes you jump higher than usual.

How do i Crouch Jump?

Hold Crouch and Jump.


What is Quick Scope?

Quick Scope is when you scope and shoot right away.

How do i quick scope?

Right click and shoot right after you right click.

What is Quick Scope used for?

It is used anytime but generally used in situations where you are close to someone and have to aim quickly with a sniper OR if you are using a rifle/smg with a scope you can use to to get easy headshots if you use headline.


Overall

-Use a knife to move faster
-Listen for footsteps to know if an enemy is around
-Walk to make enemies unable to hear you footsteps

Demolition

-Listen if someone if diffusing/planting the bomb
-Only let 1 person plant/diffuse the bomb
-Listen for the beeping noise to know which site the bomb is at
-Throw a grenade at the bomb area if you can hear someone diffusing the bomb and you can't reach them
-Check for "just killed" teammates so you know an enemy is nearby

Sabotage

-keep your team guarding the target
-charge in as a team to make it difficult for the enemies to defend
-use smoke grenades as you shoot the target so they are unable to you see clearly
-look out for the "red circle" so you know where an enemy that is shooting your target is
