How would one go about making a white gun. it doesnt look right if you make it white by overlaying alot, and if you use normal, it completely covers everything

I swear we have done this before. If you want to, just color the parts you want and set the layer on normal and tank the opacity a bit, or use hard light and layer it up a bit

you duplicated a white overlay. Im wary of what it looks like ingame though.

No white overlays were used.

Duplicate, Invert, overlay.
