how to port forward a DSL modem?

well first i have to fix my router from dcing every 2 hours, its wierd i think it goes on idle and shuts off the internet, because i have to pull the power off the router and put it back in for it to work

btw its a D-Link DI-604

It's pretty straight forward, if you don't know your pass though, I don't know what you can do.

yeah, I just switched from Cable to DSL, don't ask why, please don't. But now I have a new modem and router, and the router DC's ALL THE TIME. It's a Netgear..something or other Wireless G. On arun's thing it says DHCP, now I don't know if that is in the same category as my type of DSL internet which is PPPoE

what does he mean "contact the admin", who's the admin? O.o ((on arun's thread I mean))
