How much RAM does your computer have?
also, what settings are you running in minecraft?
Turn them to the lowest
2 GBs ram
and i didnt even got into the menu xD,it always crashes when i start it
Try updating you Java and drivers
Guys..

1. Go to System32 folder and look for OpenAL32.dll, copy it and paste it in %appdata%/.minecraft/bin/natives
2. If step one doesn't work, remove .minecraft from %appdata% and try it again. (Be sure to backup your saves if you want them)
3. If step two doesn't work, remove EVERYTHING that has something to do with minecraft, and then re-download it.
4. *This step worked for me* Try to connect to another server, ROFL.
To all linux users.

I solved this problem by installing nvidia.

You can download latest stable nvidia here:
32bit
64bit

Steps:

1)Kill Xorg.

CTRL+ALT+F1
Login with your username and password.

killing xorg:

sudo /etc/init.d/gdm stop
or
sudo /etc/init.d/gdm3 stop

2)installing
go to directory where you saved nvidia.

EXAMPLE:
cd Downloads

When you are in the directory where nvidia is type:
sudo sh ./nvidia.version.here.run (replace .version.here with the driver you have)

Now reboot.

Note:You might also need to disable noveau driver (or whatever its called )

Hope this helps happy crafting
Ok, I've found a fix.

In my case this was down to having special characters in my user account name on the computer ($ku1!) even though my display name is Skull - This is due to the folder still being stored in C:\Users\$ku1!\.minecraft for myself

There are two ways around this
1. Create a new user and use that.
2. if you have another user on the computer already, e.g. an account named share you can download the launcher, right click the exe while holding shift and hit run as another user. Then enter the account details of the other user on your computer (in my case, share).

Hopefully this helps others
This one usually fixes it.

You can also try to force update.
Wow. @Nachos Where did you find that? ^

That should definitely work

It is in quotes, you see? And then i used something, not sure if you've heard about it, called google.

That doesn't really answer my question, I was asking what site, Google is just a search engine that leads to sites which you had to get your information from a site that Google brought you to.
