Precalc
I have to take precalculus in college. Is it hard? Math/Algebra is my best subject but people make it sound horrible.

It just looks like a mix of Algebra, Geo, and Trig. I never took Trig.

I want to take the one on the bottom in January,

If I have to take any "basic classes" before precalc, they can forget it. I'll just take BM.

DONT CALL IT PRECALC - it makes it sound harder than it is :@

I have a kid in my class who advertises his Math 11 as precalc 11 when hes just learning cosine law - I was like /fp.

Trig isn't too hard but algebra won't help you much; some memorization of some laws but all in all it isn't too difficult - you'll do fine. Graphing is based off of some memorization and less understanding(at least I found).

I'm taking calc next semester =F - I finished MA12 in summer school. In Canada we just have Math and it goes all the way to GR12 we don't divide it into algebra and geometry etc...

BTW: I'm jelly - I can't wait until I get accepted into BCIT's EE program - but it was just accredited 2011 so I'm scared >=(
yes its very hard

Well, I suppose its a subjective matter; I found it easy but others might tell you otherwise. Just don't get mad at math otherwise you're fked.
Precalc is retardedly easy. There isn't actually calculus going on in precalc. Its all algebra/trig based.
I find math really easy. I didn't have some problems in Geo but nothing too bad. I don't have to take the class but I have to if I want to transfer and get a Bachelor. But all I want to do is be a systems technician for Verizon Wireless and it just says an Associates in what I'm taking..
Always shoot for more math, it doesn't hurt to have extra qualifications in math.
I had to take Precalc in college last year. Was too late to take a placement test.

Anyways, it's really easy. Mostly just learning about functions, quadratic functions, inverse functions, polynomial functions, exponential functions, logarithmic functions, the sin, cos, tan, csc, sec, cot, intro to angles and solving right angles etc. All learned in high school.
It's easy.

To me, it didn't start getting hard until Calculus 2.
I guess it depends on your aptitude, whether it's going to be difficult or not.
Personally, I find math boring so it doesn't come as easy to me..opposed to someone that loves it.

All I have to take is Precalc. That I know of. So I'll just do it.
I hated that triangle shit. I was like "When in hell will I need to measure a triangle?" Then the teacher sent me to detention. Old fuck.
