Extracting files from a .exe application?
Im not really a pro hacker lol But I was wondering is there programs that could extract files from a .exe application or break it down? And if not is there possibilities of a backdoor being opened in the .exe??

no u cant u would have to know wat it was coded with

Resource hacker is as close as your gonna get. That will get you icons, strings, etc. But you can't do anything with it because you would first need the Dumped Engine. and editing that then putting it in the game folder renders the game useless

He doesn't want to do it to CA... He is afraid an application he wants to run has another executable bound to it. @OP, sorry, you can't just extract it from the file. Open it in a dis-assembler, and look through the assembly code if you understand assembly.
