HELP!!! Whit Procesor

i try to put new termal paste on my CPU so i took the CPU out.I put the termal paste and when i wont put the CPU back it didnt fit becaouse a pin was defermed.IT is a AMD athlon X4 AM3 socket....so pls tell me what i sould do!!!!

Take a knife and gently run the non-edged edge along the lines between the pins. That's the easiest way to fix such issues, at least with the knives I have (their width is just right for the job). That's how I've done it ... multiple times

Intel has the pins in the socket, AMD has them on the CPU. You can't really get a "non-pinned" CPU without trashing the build and even then you're left with pins on the socket ... same shit

well tecnicly unless somone gets a hammer or starts forcing the pins like a 10 year old in the mobo socket ... well it should be fine :/

Same goes for the CPU pins?

Tbh I've only seen a couple of fucked AMD pins (all were realigned though), I've seen shitloads of Intel sockets totally fucked though, a few beyond repair (sometimes I wonder why I know so many technologically retarded people...).
