minecraft servers?

Im trying to create a minecraft server is there any affordable price out there that are good?

Uh, you can host it yourself, which is free.

I also do recommend bukkit, useful with all the plugins.

Bukkit runs a nifty nogui, which is better for performance, but also allows you to use plugins.

Either make a legit one using the downloaded exe jar from minecraft.net or just go to the Minecraft hack section and download Bukkit 1.0.0.
