What's that thing called where you get your phone and get the unlimited internet plan and then use that for your laptop?

make your phone into a wifi hotspot?

If I were you i'd try to see what the speeds are like in new zealand before you get an unlimited plan.

Yeah... that region of the world will screw you in speed and price. I wouldn't get my hopes up.

For like if your internet is down, and you wanna use your computer but you cant have wifi cus its down, then use tethering.

I don't even pay for my shit

I used to use my blackberry for this, but that was back when they didn't have 4g yet, was like half DSL speed.
