{help!}specs

so i just started playin ca again after a 3 or 4 month hiatus
n i found out you can buy specs n shit with gp now

i went to go buy a viper for 7 days which costs 14,000 gp n i have 14,565 gp
n it told me i didn't have enough gear points(gp)
wtf?!?!?!
am i doing something wrong?

Refresh. You can only buy her gp when you are Second Lieutenant I which is the gold bar. @Stoney Franklin
