Just wanted to know i just baught An acer aspire 5750g with- 1 tb hard disk
- 6 gb ddr 3 memory
-nvidia geforce gt 520m graphics card
Just wanted to know will it run battlefield 3 smoothly on low or medium graphics?

Yes, I think it should run smoothly, but don't trust me because I have little knowledge of laptop GFX cards. All I know is that a GT 540M is the best on the laptop. So, by comparing the numbers, and knowing this isn't ATI, a GT 520M should be a near top of the line GFX card for laptop.

an nvidia GT520M will run BF3 on low with some things on medium 30-50FPS
turn off the MSAA and the AA or else youll lag like diarrhoea
and remember your laptop will become hot after a while so be carefull and btw ur processor should be atleast a quad core to run it good
ofc a dualcore is also good but it wont give you the FPS boost which youll get on a quad core

Probably on low settings.
I'm running a sager np8170 with a 485m overclocked a little, and I can run the game on ultra graphics around 38fps, But the 485m is WAY more powerful than that card. I can run bf3 barely on my 9500m overclocked to 640/1325/484 so ill assume that you can run it at medium with no problems. If not... OVERCLOCK! 
and even if it does run it without an overclock I would recommend a slight overclock anyway. Just make sure you repaste your gpu before you overclock so ur card doesn't fry itself! my 9500m tops out at about 83c when running furmark, and being overclocked like it is and I wouldn't want it any higher than 85c
Just remember, laptop cards can take higher temps than desktop cards
