Katana is very difficult to use. Just wait a week and do the xmas challenges, you can get a free combat axe and katana for 7 days 
Combat Axe. Kris is good too.
Axe forever, its beast.
I've heard good things about the Katana, but I love the shovel =3
Axe. Its FAST and if youre good at aiming then its ONE shot kill in the head. (left click)

Katana . Use it all the time in GM and I get swell kills. You need to bhop fluently though - so basically backwards bhoping+frontwards bhopping all the time and using it to bhop all around the map without moving.
