Replacing files

I was wondering if it were possible to find the files for like the normal sniper skin. And replace it with the new Sniper Ghille Suit skin. Or even make guns like the k2 look like a famas.

It might be done but it would be visual only.

Meaning, it would appear like that to only you, and no one else.

Would i be able to download .dds file extension toward photoshop and be able to edit files like that or would it be more complicated? I really dont like buying g1 for some 30 day skin.
