SkyQuest
Well, my friends and I are trying to make a new Mmorpg game. We have around 11 staff members so far, and we're still brainstorming ideas and shit. But, we may need coders that know C++, C#, and Delphi very well. We're using GameStudio a8 to design the game, and we need a little help.. Since I'm the Head of Human Resources, it's my job to find some good people.. So, here's a list of possible things people can do to help, if you don't wanna it's fine, haha.

JOBS:
few GFXers
advertisers
coders
character designers
brainstormers
etc

We only need a few volunteers..PM or tell me if you're interested. When the game comes along, you may be paid a small salary, it depends. Thank you guys!
Ehh I could have a go at the advertising and Brainstorming

Also keen to do some alpha testing
can i be head of sitting on my ass and doing nothing

thx

Can i also do that?
well, it's kind of like runescape and skyrim mixed together, but tons different. we're still creating the story line.. but this video is about the GameStudio a8 thing.

The game is way different from what were making, but you can move like this, and it will be about different worlds - water, fire, nature, wind, etc. I think it's going to be pretty cool. We already bought the domain... So, now we are trying realy hard to get it done.
So there won't be guns in it?
Making is a lot harder than you think. You will need a math whiz to balance it out, not offering my services, just saying. Items, exp, monster stats, spells, player stats, and so much more have to be calculated out. That's only the balancing aspect, a good graphical game with everything done can be completely ruined if it's not balanced.

Then there is graphics, networking (hacking included), sounds, texturing, models, animating, AI, TONS upon TONS of bugs, etc. Using a premade engine saves you lots of headaches, but...

Half the people will quit or be incompetent before it even has a demo.
Half of the rest will quit sometime between finishing it and the demo.
3-4 will probably stay if you are lucky.

Not trying to dissuade you, but realistically it's a huge undertaking, especially the multi player part. I have actual experience making single player and multi player games, and trust me, it's no easy undertaking. My avatar is from a website based turn based multiplayer RPG w/ monsters and pvp, etc.

trust me Arun, we have a lot of hardworking people willing their time. They're passionate, and we have math "whizzes" and I'm not saying it won't be hard, or we'll keep everyone, i just need some help with it. That's the only thing..

thanks for telling me all this though, i didn't realize we had this much coming at us. I'm not an owner or a maker of it, but I'm trying to help out best as I can.
