Classification

You could say it's a rip-off idea, but look at the number of Graphics forums that have this.

I say we should include this in this section, for the purpose of more attraction and appeal of the forum.

Classification is a tricky thing.
Most graphics sites have a strict system as well.
Somebody would have to make a class section, and we need pros here to class them as well.
One person could say he's intermediate, while he could be classes as a low beginner.
We could try to have it, it's just that we need graphics veterans to class people.

Hmmm, great idea.

Maybe we could use PlanetRenders system?

Or try to make our own system.

I really like a GSA-like system (yes I've seen many others, not just that), and want to go along those lines.

Beginner, Novice, Amateur, Moderate, Intermediate, Skilled, Professional, Master.

Those are my suggested ranks. I know they're a bit numerous, but that makes it all the more fun.

This could and most likely will attract a lot of attention, thus giving us more members, for maybe a separate Classing Crew, who can class people along with GFX Members.
Copied idea again, but whatever.

Hopefully people that come from other sites won't put us down if we class a beginner as a master in their terms >_>

That is why (I forgot to mention this before) there should be a kind of a Classification Judge. Someone who is very active *coughme*, on almost every day if possible *coughme*, has smarts *coughme*, and he has to finalize the decision.
I'm not saying it should be me, it could be, it could be RJ.

But whoever does become the judge should prove him/herself first. NOT to the whole community, because no offense, most people here aren't fit for deciding wisely.

Right. And I never said it should only be me or RJ.
Although I do recommend the more experienced, ex: RJ, Enigma, Jaded, whatnot.

this would be a good idea, im on everyday and what not but i couldnt class people at my knowledge level xP
