Change the visuals!

Hey guys...
i know the car in the picture is a little buggy, but it was just a test...
Its also including another engine sound, and siren, but its just visual for your computer!!!.... and other cars with bodykit like the one with real ARMAS kit might be bugged and looks wrong.

But i'm not done fixing together a bodykit because i dont know which names are which parts.
But actually i am making this thread to know which program i can use to open .UPK files and change them, cause when i open an .UPK file with notepad or any other program on my computer its just some stupid symbols that i cant use for anything.

What i want all this for is so its easier for me to change to a right bodykit without bugs like ''No roof'' :-P
And it might be able to change the look of a gun, so i could make ''Ntec'' --> ''Scoped Ntec''

All of this are just visual for the pc with the changed files.

So what i want to know is... which program can i use to open UPK files and change them?
Hope that some one knows a free software for this

And ofc. i'll share the files later when i have learned a little more about it

Its possible to change some files in the game folder, and make the ''Normal'' kit for like the Jericho looks like the ARMAS kit, but to do that i might need to change the UPK files cause it doesnt include some parts like bullbar at the ''normal'' kit, so its wouldnt be possible to put on some of the parts without changing the .UPK files

So does anyone knows a free software to change UPK files ?

You can't change them but you can swap them around...

Okay, thats also what i did, but the jericho aint going to be with full bodykit because it aint including all parts from the start.
I've changed some files in the Cisco folder, and now i am driving a Cisco with armas kit... but its only on my computer its possible to see that

Dude, how did you do this? They patched all of this ages ago. Did they un-patch it after everybody stopped or what o.O

But, you could be banned.

Well just by changing the name of the files, lets say the are 4 files named J_E_Hood1-4 and u change Hood1 to lets say 2 and 2 to 1, then the parts will be on the car when you loging next time...
But this is only for yours computer, only you can see the bodykit, no one else can...

And if its bannable i dont care i use hacks anyway...
G1 banned my primary account for no reason so i got pissed and start doing what they want me not to do

.UPK files are Unreal Package -Something-

APB uses the Unreal Engine so it's believable.

Progress: loading UE3 packages | Gildor's Homepage

Download it from that page and drag the file onto the Extractor and let it go. Then you are done.

I just tested it then and it worked!

It allows you to extract the files from those packed files. So then you can edit the files within.

Change the visuals!
