COMMENT THEM BRITFAGS (OR OTHERFAGS, /CARES). Also missed the deadline for Oxford / Cambridge, but Imperial and Durham both hold their ground. Got a day left to switch em, any advice, alternatives or comments are welcome, no matter how retarded.

I'm not really bothered by it, if anything Cambridge is the one I'm sad I missed. As far as physics goes imo St Andrews has a better department (even the UK rankings reflect it), Imperial is in London and only marginally worse and Warwick is pretty much my love ever since I visited it. I regret not applying for chem and maths on Cambridge though =/

4 year masters program, jesus.

For me it is;
Bach. of Science (majoring in psychology) -> Bach. of Science (honours) -> 2 years of supervised practice -> Master of Psychology/Doctor of Psychology or a PhD -> full registration with the Australian Psychological society.

For me:

4 years -> Master in Science / Maths / Chem / Physics (whatever I end up being). Most likely I'll continue with postgrad stuff though, so add that on top

Can't help you in your choice of UK unis. Go with american, be better than the rest. Try MIT

Math is my fallback actually, my firm is probs gonna be Imperial's physics.

I prefer math & arts/crafts over any other subject. It's the most fun. If I chose to go to college right now, I'd probably get a Bachelor in Recording Tech. & a Masters in Advertising.

But I don't think I want college. At least not right now. It'd make no difference the way America's economy is right now.

MIT has a rigorous college application. Scared me away even though I got high enough on Math/Sci on the ACT to get in. Though I probably wouldn't just based on shear probability (10% acceptance), and I'm skared of getting smashed cuz I'm kinda lazy when it comes to school work.

Stay away from MIT IMO.

If MIT's workload scared you, you don't wanna hear about Imperial's. When asking about clubs and shit erryone is just gonna say "what clubs, you're gonna end up spending your time talking about quantum mechanics with your friends"

Yeah, Durham has a hella reputation. Along with Oxbridge, Imperial and perhaps UCL / LSE it represents England's best. Warwick is a close leader but they're physics department ... megusta. And I love Warwick generally

Physics has always seemed interesting imo
