Well people learn coding knowledge for either personal reasons or if they have an interest in it and see it as a career option. People don't really learn to code just to make hacks for video games. Learning to code is sorta difficult and a real time wasting thing to do if you're not going it for the correct reasons or not 110% dedicated.
