What would you do?

Hey all,

I have a question for all of the people on here who actually have more intelligence than the common ground squirrel. I would like to know your answer you my question and a really good reason why.

Try not to think selfishly, try to think about society in general; unless of course you are a selfish person.

Would you change the world if you could, at the expense of your own life. If so, what would you change and why?

It will be interesting to see who can answer with intelligence.

I would change it by stopping SOPA, because SOPA is one heck of bs

Get rid of money and all forms of it.

Are you implying that simply because some people value their lives more than the others' or the worldly stuff, they lack the intelligence of people that are willing to sacrifice their own life to change the world?
And @gladio30 that would cause chaos, because that's what runs our economy. World without money will be chaotic because no one will work anymore if they seek no benefits of working hours and all of the products and services becomes free. There always has to be some sort of money in some forms to make transactions and make trades.

I agree that SOPA is bullshit but I am talking more about widescale things, not just on the internet.

No, with the intelligence but I mean that most people on MPGH wouldn't be able to answer intellectually. I definitely agree with you about the money though, believe it or not it is one of the few things that keeps the world stabilised.

99.9% of the people that say they would sacrifice themselves for others are just disillusioning themselves and everyone else - we are selfish beings and I sincerely doubt anyone here would carry out anything said in this thread in real life, given the opportunity.

You would judge a single person by what everyone else does? I mean there are many things that I know I would definitely sacrifice myself for, mainly with family which is because I love them so much.

Who's to say that there aren't people who love this world as much as I love my family?

i would tax big corperations more and the little ones less to balance out the money issue, big corperations are the people who owns this world, and the bible says money is the root of all evil. i would stop the killing of the rain forests, with the technology thats we posess im sure there are better alternatives.

for one day out of the year everybody would be friends and nobody would die, and the next day we would remember it.

remove toxic things like:
drugs (marajuana isnt a drug)
tobacco
alchohol
asbestos
nuclear substances

stopping SOPA would be ideal so that websites like this could still voice there opinion but it wouldnt change the world

The person who replied "remove money and all forms of it" is pretty retarded.

If we removed money then we would have nothing to buy goods with, and once we found something to trade we would have to get rid of it because it would be a form of money. (has value)

And every one is just saying what they would do, without saying how they would do it. Its easier said than done.

I'd "wake my country (and maybe the world) up". Cause Hungary is in deeeeeeeeeep shit.
