Solvedhacks not working

My brother has a lite version of vista home premium installed and none of the crossfire hacks work for him ever. He has net framework 4 installed as well as c++ 2010 redistributable. The patcher.exe and crossfire.exe are running in compatibility for windows xp and he even tried run as administrator, but still not working. Any help is appreciated.
