whats program for (SMD, DXT) the best?

need a program that can acurately read and display file types like smd, dxt
for those not understanding smd are maps files , and dxt are image files relating to ko we have an editor but the images are to distorted, so was wondering what
program may open them accuratly.

I know nothing of things that can open that, but if its popular, I'm sure you can find a plugin for just about every program you can think of to possibly do it. Just pick your most comfortable one and do a plugin search.

However, I would suggest waiting for someone else to post, because I am in no way helpful
