But that's the stupidest way to make it. What sh_z_sektor is talking about is how all of us REAL coders do things. You hook directx and then you disable and do your setting of the render states in the dip. With that way you have total control over the directx api being used in the game depending on which functions you hook. Btw, wallhack isn't the coolest d3d feature. They come and go depending on how many walls are between you. Boxes are the best "wallhacks" since you see them behind the wall.

Of course it is possible to do it.
When you use a d3d hook, you just unactivate renderstates (ZBuffer : D3DZB_FALSE).
CrossFire has to activate them everytime (ZBuffer : D3DZB_TRUE).
When you change the D3DZB_TRUE from CrossFire to D3DZB_FALSE, you got a wallhack.
(Using NOPs would work also)
