Tip 1*
- YouTube and Google. I use them 24/7. YouTube to find skilled people.
Tip 2*
- Your expectations have to be really low and it will most likely take you 2-3 years for you to learn your game engine.
Tip 3*
- If you can't do anything yourself, you should stop.
Tip 4*
- Start up a game by yourself. After about a year start getting people.
Tip 5*
- Make friends on the internet, coders, and just random people who knows they may be connected with someone :P

Nice video. You can design pretty well.
And I was thinking of using Blender to make the maps, zBrush for characters, weapons, items, ect. and I haven't thought of a game engine yet. Or could I use Blender? These would rather be the programmer & designers choices than mine.
I don't know much of technical stuff (gfx designing, coding, ect.) But I helped design/layout a Poker game for a local casino as part of a game design class I took back in High School.

I was sort of the director of a movie but for video games.
I want to go to school for C++ and web design but I'm still searching for the right school. Not a degree or anything, just a tech or trade school. I'm getting a Bachelor in Social/Internet Marketing. I have somewhat a plan of the game. Types of characters, abilities, gun mods, way of making money though a "ZP" type system like Crossfire. I'm not looking to making 100's of thousands or even millions; just enough to pay hosting/server fees. I just want a game that's fun to play with tons of mods and customizations to keep players interested to keep buying product. Most FPS games I play today are limited in that category and get boring.
Characters just won't be military soldiers. There will be a mix of real guns and customized guns. Different types of maps. TDM & S&D + New modes. Not stupid zombie and ghost modes every game uses and just changes the names. More abilities to make game play fun. I just have a ton of ideas.
But yeah; I'm @
Drtro if you haven't figured out yet.
