Solvedquick DL speed question

I just upgraded my internet package to a cap at 30 mpbs. A speed test shows me at 22 mbps which is fine but when I am actually downloading something (most recently LoL) i am all the way down at 652 kbps! When I initially start the download I am around 1 mpbs but as the DL progresses my speed drops all the way to less than half a mb. what gives?

What gives is that just because YOU are capable of transferring at 30Mbps, it doesn't mean that whoever is sending you the file (be it a server, seed, any other cdn...) can handle 30MBps. Also if it helps, imagine the internet as a vast system of pipes, some wider and some thinner. The path between you and whoever is sending the files might go through some thinner pipes and lose some of the speed, per se.
