@Farmvillez wtf .. fraps workes fine it just create a new .avi file all 30 secs...
so it records as long as you want but the files are a bit large ... (like 4GB each) ..

Fraps is pretty much one of the best screen recorders out there.

What are the specs on your computer? If your computer doesn't have suitable specs that might be why.

If fraps lags your computer than invest in a better one. If you can't run a recording program and play normally than you won't be able to do so.

Your options:

Camtasia
Fraps
Hypercam

if none of those work then get a better computer like I stated above.
