❗ "client file corruption detected. Closing game client"

i updated my second computer to windows 7 32bit, but whenever i try to open crossfire, this notice comes up. I downloaded the latest version and was able to download the patch update, but it still doesnt work. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

do you mean that in the middle of patching process you get an error "patching file failed"?

No, after the patch finishes and the game is about to come up, the error notice pops up.

what does the error say? Have you tried re-installing?

Yes i have

i get this error when i want to open crossfire on a vmware machine. reinstall the game and make sure you are on a physical computer

have you ever tried re-installing using safe mode? Re-installing using safemode gets rid of 99% of errors.

I just reinstall onto a USB. Then I never got the problem again. Good Luck

Newly installed. Is your computer fully updated and such? Also sometimes this error happens because of your graphics card... Try updating the drivers.
