But still, I think paying that much for footwear is a waste of money that good be redirected elsewhere. I'm a pretty practical person. On that money I'd probably buy a new knife.
Well if you think about it, in the end I can probably sell ALL of my shoes and that alone can rack me up thousands. Its an investment, if you're bad at stuff like that, chances are its a huge waste of money.

I just don't think it's a good idea to invest money into something so short-lived and fragile. Shoes are meant to get dirty, keep your feet warm, protected, and comfortable. A role reversal just seems nonsensical.

Well different people, different taste. You would buy a knife, cause you like to hunt and stuff (I think?), I'm an outgoing person so I like to look nice and I don't really hunt or anything that really needs me to buy boots and a knife. And also, I only wear my shoes at max, 10 times before reselling them. You buy beaters which are basically shoes that you don't care about and are just casual shoes. I would never wear $300 shoes to the store or anything.

Yeah basically. I also invest a lot into knives because a good knife will out last me. Knives and guns are perhaps the best inheritance because they can be kept in good condition for ages, and they never lose any of their practical value. And a gun kept in good condition will go up in value if it's an old family heirloom.

In Australia, we have to wear uniform so that doesn't apply over here
I want new shoes because, at the moment, I use the same pair for everything and they're getting worn out fast. What I want is a good pair of bball shoes and maybe tigers. Then I'd be set.
