MPGH needs a computer hardware section.

I see a lot of people requesting builds or showing off their builds in the general section. It would be better if there was a dedicated section for this.

but I agree, we need a dedicated section. Could be in General Gaming.

We used to, but I opted to remove it because General Gaming was too dead, and we already had a Hardware & Support section. Actually no wait, hardware support got MOVED to general gaming, but we moved it back.

Well, you can get help with picking hardware for a build in the support section. People do that a lot actually.

Shouldn't have a dedicated section...... it's going to be those one hit wonders where a couple of threads are pushed into it; people spam it up for a week or so and from then on has an average post count of 1-5 posts per week

No, that's only support.
Maybe like make a Hardware and Software section and then move this into there as a subsection.

There are many sections in MPGH with little activity. But the hardware section is not going to be one of them. I am sure it's going to be pretty active.

What would the section be about (specifically) {meaning, how would it differ from the current forum}

But then people who don't know anyone would get no feedback. There is no way I'm posting outside of General just for a hardware thread.

Hardware support should be able to answer questions such as what X is best for X aka you can just as easily create discussions or anything. No reason why we should have a "discussion" thread, I don't see how anything hardware-related couldn't just be moved there to be dealt with

Could also be used as a general hardware mods and hacks subforum aswell. i'm pretty decent with helping newbies mod their consoles / hack simple devices.
