I play CF right after dinner which is about 6:30, and I quit at around 8:30, then play minecraft. But there is a reason why i play minecraft at that time, usually i quit at 9:30.
Until for about 8:30 pm, my ping is fine. My internet is fast. But at around 8:45-9:00pm, that's when my ping boosts up to 200-500. My normal ping rate is 90, in US West Server it's around 18-50.
If my internet were to be slow from 9:00, then that would make a reason. But the thing is that my internet is still the same fast speed...
I go to speedtest.net to check my ping status, everytime when i quit CF of high ping and check my ping, it says my ping status is 18 ms.
I go on CF again, at first for about 30 sec-1 min it's 89-90 ping, 5 minutes later? 400 PING.
Then I play minecraft, and minecraft doesn't even lag. It usually lags if my internet is slow, but it doesn't lag. And I go on multiplayer too.
I clearly think it has to do something with CF, i don't want to re-install though.. Re-installing i think won't take action to ping increase/decrease. Anyone have a suggestion of how to fix this or come close to fixing it?
PS: I have wireless internet connection, win7 32-bit home premium, HP, and I have modded my crossfire 50%. (Kill marks, background, background music, start game music.)
Wait for the cmd to say something like 'Windows has successfully flushed the DNS revolver cache', then close it.
Now try opening crossfire again. See what happens.
i already tried that..i knew that from like 5 weeks ago.
Then that's why you list everything you've done in the post you made in your thread.

Open CF, then open task manager. Go to the processes tab and find CF. Right click and set the process to low.
