Daddy Whale

And the last two for today:

Tom Waits - I Hope I Don't Fall In Love With You from his debute album Closing Time. Not his most popular album but in my opinion one of his best, if not the very best. In this album he has still clean vocals.

The Beatles - While My Guitar Gently Weeps from the famous The White Album. Their guest guitarist Eric Clapon, one of the greatest guitarists that exist, provides the song with a beautiful solo.

David Bowie - Ashes to Ashes from the album Scary monsters. The funny think about this album is that he uses a character from one of his other hits: Major Tom from Space Oddity.

John Lee Hooker - One Bourbon, One Scotch, One beer, my favourite John Lee Hooker song. I can't listen to this song enough.

Another two.

Wes Montgomery - Impressions
I only heard this song recently, but in my opinion it's great.

Shooter Jennings - Lonesome Blues. The son of Waylon Jennings, maybe anyone has heard of him. A good friend of Johnny Cash, surely anyone has heard of him.

Sly & The Family Stone - If You Want Me To Stay from the album Fresh.
FUNKY~

Lou Reed - New York Telephone Conversation
From the album Transformers, which was directed by David Bowie himself.
Lou Reed was the guitarist of Velvet Underground.

Kayak - Ruthless Queen
Hurray for Dutch bands. From The Phantom Of The Night

Hell, why not..
Another Dutch band!
Golden Earring - Another 45 Miles

Queen - The Show Must Go On from my favourite Queen album Innuendo.
Written by the guitarist Brian May about Freddie Mercury who was so ill that he couldn't even walk while recording this song.

Dire Straits - Your Latest Trick from Brothers In Arms

Jim Croce - New York's Not My Home
I wonder if there's anyone on MPGH who knows this song.

Black Eyed Peas - Joints And Jams from their first album, Behind The Front.
Possibly my favourite Black Eyed Peas song, recorded when hiphop was still good. Funky.
