File is changed.

Hi MPGH, I know this problem has been discuted many times, but I mine is not over yet. First, I got that the RF002 is changed, I downloaded one from a topic, and it worked, but when Xtrap sh*t opens up, the file is changed again, but this time not RF002, is RF016. Is really annoyn' and I was wondering to tell you guys if you can give me a pack with all the rez files from the US version? (Z8Games). And please, don't close the topic, I searched everywere but still not working. Thanks!

Sorry for double post but I have to say that I reinstalled CF about 12 times, I used CCleaner, deleted CF folder, cleaned registery AND SAME THING. I got the same error but this time the file changed is RF002, I downloaded it again, and I got RF003 is changed, I downloaded it again (JESUS) and now I got the error with RF016, and this time, I downloaded it from MPGH but is not working, I put it on rez folder from CF directory and I start from the begining (File is changed: RF002, RF003, RF0017 etc.) after I put all the rez files that I downloaded in rez folder, I get again the same error for RF016, it is FUCKED UP people! It's really annoyn'. Is not first time, I reinstalled WinXP about 4 times and tried CF, same result. I installed one day Win7 to test it, SAME THING, SAME FUCKING ERROR. Can somebody freakin' help me? WITHOUT saying to reinstall CF cuz IT DOSEN'T WORK GUYS!

.REZ files are huge. It surpasses the upload bandwidth on MPGH.

Try reinstalling, but this time disable your A/V. It could be possible that your files got corrupted during installation. Also try reinstalling in safe mode if that doesn't work...

Thanks for your response hero. I tried to reinstall the game, delete the registry and still dosen't work. I don't use at the moment any AV beacuse I just reinstalled my OS like 4 day's ago and I'm sure that I don't have any spyware or viruses. If you can give me more informations about installing CF on Safe Mode on WinXP OS, I would really apreciate. Thanks.

Err, don't you know how to go on Safe Mode?

No, sorry, I tried one or twice time's to go in Safe Mode, I did it but I don't remember what button to press.

P.S: I did a clean install (cleaned registry etc.) and I installed CF trough Safe Mode, same thing, File is Changed, RF002.REZ, if I download this .rez file, is changing to another, and then back to this one, is pretty hard to explain but, anyway, it didn't worked on Safe Mode either... any solutions

installation in safe mode should work...don't think this is the rez folder problem. I think this is UI folder problem.
Do this, exactly this--
1. Uninstall game completely, that no sign of crossfire exists on your computer anymore.
2. Re DOWNLOAD the game, from any website.
3. When the installer pops up, press CANCEL. Move your installer to a folder you will remember, or simply, your desktop.
4. Go on safe mode (search it up, I don't want to type it all out)
5. Re-start, which then gets you into safe mode.
6. Find your installer, and install it. In safe mode, all you can do is nothing, but wait until it installs patiently.
7. Exit safe mode, then restart computer.
8. Patch the game. (OPEN AS ADMIN IF ON 7 OR VISTA)
9. After finishing patch, it should move on to the HGWC loading. Close it immediately.
10. Check for virus

dows update.
11. Shut down computer.
12. Wait until your computer/laptop cools down.
13. Turn on computer again, and start CF, RUN AS ADMIN IF ON WIN7 OR VISTA.
14. Have fun.
If this didn't work, then idk.

send z8 a support ticket. That's all you can do. Otherwise, no solution..

Formatting it the last option, but can help you if is possible for you do it.

I already have to topics to they forum, but they don't give a fuck about them, a moderator closed my theard without to tell me it's solved, he just said:

Reinstall the game.
Simple as that.

And marked it as solved and closed it... .On CF EU forums the same... they don't give me an anwser, you guys are the single comunity what is trying to help me. Anyway, I will try again a formatting, hope can solve anything. Thanks.
