Karma Card?

Those Karma cards you buy that give you nx, i live in New Zealand and i want to buy a CA NA account using karma card, could the guy who im buying off (he in america) could he use it or is it as they say "area situated"?

He would be able to use it, when you buy the card from the store they activate it so then you can use the card anywhere you live in United States.
