Lnfant's Guide on Flipping
Lnfant's Guide to Flipping
Hey guys. I want to share the best money-making method on RuneScape especially for us who like doing nothing: flipping. I have played the game for a few years now and the only thing I do is merching and flipping. Yeah, I know flipping is well-known but I will teach you the mechanics. The guide will be very useful for beginners but if you are experienced you can still learn something. Note that I will use 1m-5m items on this guide but the mechanics are the same for any item.
I. WHAT IS FLIPPING
Flipping is the act of buying at a certain low price and reselling the same item for a highest price but in matter of minutes. Unlike merching and investing, flipping does not require you to be constantly checking the G.E or applying strategies.

II. LET'S START FLIPPING
Anyways, in this guide I will start with a cash pile of 60M and will situate my character in world 18. Why that world? Grand Exchange system works in this way: it will first look for offers in your world. If your offer is not yet complete, it will start looking for queded offers in other worlds. I pick 18 because it's a populated world where people will tend to buy and sell fast since it's a PKing world.

Okay. Now the second step is to choose a item. If you are a beginner I'd recommend checking the most traded items on the Grand Exchange tab in the RS site. If you have 50m+ I recommend picking items within the range of 500k-5m. I will pick Berserker Ring.

To figure out the SELLING price, press the +5% button several times when you are buying it. The price you buy it for will be your selling price. To figure out the BUYING price, press the -5% button several times when you are selling it. Yes, you will always lose money on this step. The money you lose will be your profit margin.

As you can see, my buying price is 2962013 and my selling price is 2997000. That would be 30k profit per ring. In order to buy the rings, you will need to add a few coins to your buying price and in order to sell it you will need to reduce a few coins to your selling price.

Note how I added 7 coins to the buying price.
As I'm writing this, 8 rings bought. You gotta be fast though, price changes quickly so you don't wanna miss it. I will start to sell them.

Note how I reduced few coins to the selling price.
I sold all of them. Now let's check the profit.

Made 236k in 3 minutes.
III. MAXIMIZING PROFITS/REDUCING LOSES
In order to maximize the amount of cash you make pick various item at the same time to flip. That way you won't make 236k but 700k.
REMEMBER THE LIMITS. Pick items that have a good profit margin (10k+) and remember to sell it within 20 minutes.
There will be the time when your item won't sell after a while. In that case reduce the item's selling price to 5k over the buying price. If it still don't sell, sell it for 2 coins below the buying price.
After a while, my profits:

Hope you enjoyed and found it useful.
Cheers,
