Geometry Help. Look Here.
Someone help me solve this problem!

Here:

If you fold the following shape below with it's given length of 8in by 4in to form a 3D shape, What would the length be after you've folded the shapes to form a Cone?
Picture [The Shapes before it's folded.]:

Multiple Question Answers:
A) 8IN. by 4IN.

B) 4IN. by 4IN.

PLEASE ALSO EXPLAIN HOW U GOT THE ANSWER!! THANKS!
@MagixAries

If by "length" you mean "height", then just use Pythagorean theorem.

Then:

Repeat for different values. Also note that if the diameter of the larger part is 8, the edge would be 4, not 8 as you drew in the second sketch. Just fyi.
So, would the answer be B then? because if u fold the top shape in half it becomes cut in half...so 8/2 would be 4 by 4? Someone confirm this please

This is due in 14 hours guys & I really need to know the answer!! :"(
Oh you're wondering which image is correct, not the height? In that case B, yes. The radius is half of the diameter.
