All minecraft clients/hacks are compatible throughout mac, windows and linux because its Java, not the OS' coding language

Hacks/custom clients are made in .jar format so all you need to do is find the minecraft folder and replace the file with the minecraft.jar and rename the client to minecraft.jar

Obviously. Now that 1.2.4 has came out, wait for a client to be released for 1.2.4. Then, just go to your Minecraft folder (I don't know the exact location on a Mac,) but replace that minecraft.jar with the one that you downloaded. It works, i' did it before for my cousins' Minecraft on his mac.
